I have tried different brands of dog food, and I found that no matter what brand I try, they like Purina ONE the best. When they eat Purina ONE, they take some in their mouths, walk over to the living room, drop it on the floor, and lie down with the food between their paws, eating a couple of pieces at a time. It's great to see - especially with such large dogs. Our dogs are the best, and I never feed them anything but Purina ONE.     Show More LaVoice - Gus Gus, a full-blooded male Doberman, was a throw-away dog. I found him in an industrial area .. just a few days before Christmas…he most likely would not have made it. He almost starved to death. We determined that he was approximately five months old. The vet told me that it would be best for Gus if we put him to sleep. For the first month he did nothing except sleep about 22 hours a day, and eat. After much research I found Purina ONE... Fudge and Goods loved it, and still do after 5 years. But because she gave birth to puppies that evening, the vet with the rescue organization decided to try to save her. I didn't think ONE little bag of dog food could make that much difference. Bogie seemed to really like the taste, and by the end of the bag I noticed there really was a change, especially where the backyard was concerned. After the bag was gone, I tried to go back to the other dog food. Needless to say, Bogie wasn't impressed. He sniffed at it and walked away. I came home later that day to find that he took out his hostility on my favourite sandals!! Evidently he was telling me that he'd rather eat shoes then that other stuff. After trying Purina ONE I noticed a vast difference... We retired him as the farm dog but your food really changed him back to the dog he used to be. She would shed like crazy so we could not allow her to jump onto the soft comfy rocker she usually claims ... Her hair was a mess and we were always cleaning and vacuuming trying to control the hair… I got Purina ONE and not only did I have to feed her less food to be happier because of its quality... He is around ten years old and was severely neglected due to the neighbours age and bad health…his only interaction with anyone was a once-a-day feeding. On top of this, he was not being treated for heartworms, which we immediately cured. After the heartworms were out of the way, we started his first month on Purina ONE. By the end of that month, I had a whole new dog! She is now one and a half years old and is about to have her first litter of puppies. She has always been in great health and has a beautiful black, shiny coat. Thanks.     Show More Paul I rescued my dog from a neglected life last September … She is a Shelty/Chow mix, and has a very long, thick coat. She was thin, sickly, and I tried many different dog foods to get her healthy and help her put on weight. I tried the Purina ONE challenge a couple of months ago, and have stayed with it. She is now a normal, happy puppy, and her fur is very soft and healthy looking. She has enormous amounts of energy, and has even started being playful like a dog should be.     Show More Kimberley - Maggy and Missy I put both of my dogs on Purina ONE after my older dog, Maggie, took a trip to the emergency clinic last fall. She almost died from a severe case of pancreatitis…That illness did a number on her metabolism, and she began to gain a lot of weight on her old food… Since she started eating Purina ONE - she has more energy, her coat is better, and she hasn't had any more dietary problems. When (Missy) was a puppy she broke her leg while at the kennel. Her leg still has problems from time to time, even four years after this happened...and she has a need for staying trim as well. So I put her on Purina ONE as well, and she couldn't be doing any better. She used to have a little bit of a dry skin problem, and that has completely gone away!
